Do you still watch Pokemon? If they switched Ash with Red or made the series more serious would you watch it? I think I would, the series seems like it would do really well if there was actual character development and if it was more mature. I remember deleting the old "Pokemon" one I was actually surprised that it was inactive. However, back to the topic... I saw some of the new episodes... and I feel that it's not like the first season... it's changed.... Also, if it was serious it would be like some of the manga which were more darker... I would still watch it.... but there are like a million new pokemon now GAH!

wolfsaiga 24270 cr points Send Message: 21 / M / 風の山 Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 12/5/12 i still enjoy watching the movies. the way i play games make pokemon games boring. starter pokemon will be at highest allowed level before the first battle with the rival. and i get pretty lucky as well, always getting the rare stuff early. and after a few badges im invincible. well any series is good when you actually give it a good plot. but launching a new style pokemon is especially dangerous in the US. i think stopped somewhere around the diamond and pearl season. can't remember. second or 3rd season with the dawn. i check back every so when im up in the morning and needed background noice while i study. and it seems ash is getting some more romance with strange girls.

Haha, I actually noticed they had manga's for Pokemon recently and was tempted to pick up those just to nostalgia and have a copy of. So if they made one that was more serious I would probably watch it. The only reason I don't check out the new Pokemon now is because I am so far behind from when I was a kid.

Even though it is for a younger audiences they could still have serious themes many other shows aimed at a younger audiences have done it, so why cant Pokemon?

After years of getting up early to watch Pokemon, at one point I felt like it all started to be the same stuff happening over and over with no real progress in the story/
