Hey everyone ~ !!! This is Victoria ~ ! And LugiaMania and I would love to host a BTOOOM! contest for all of you ~ !



If you aren't familiar with BTOOOM! then fear not! We have it on Crunchyroll so you can watch it any time ~ ! BTOOOM! is the name of the game the characters in the anime play. The weapons available in this game, which has sold over three million copies worldwide, do not include guns - only bombs called BIMs. The player locates enemies on a radar and strategically launches one of eight types of BIMs to blow the enemy away. Sounds pretty cool, huh ~ ?

Since the anime and manga are based on a GAME, the covers of the manga are actually modelled after XBOX game boxes ~ !! And when lined up, they look like a bunch of XBOX games on a shelf ~ !!!!


We thought this idea was so rad, we want to HAVE YOU ALL COPY IT. CO-PY-NIN-JA STYLE. ( Not really ) But you UNDERSTAND ~ !!!!

Never seen this, might have to check it out. Has for everyone wanting to do the rape scene, from what i've gathered it seems that it involved ruffies and alcohol, so if you want to do that you'd just have to go with a more stylelized reference. Something like a glass with a pill next to it, or a eye droplet bottle would pretty much get the point across. There also the option to do it like The Crow, the gangrape in the comic is gotten accross without any nudity or overtly disturbing images, instead you get a close up of the manic grotesque faces of the attackers, it gets the point across extremely well. The disembodied floating faces of drugged characters from the scene would have the same effect. There's lots of ways of taking on the subject without having to use shocking or explict imagery. One of the best exploration of rape i've seen in anime was now and then here and there, you don't see any of the rape, but instead see the victims reaction after the fact, it gets the point across perfectly. Good luck dark subject matter often makes for very interesting art.

Other things happened in that episode other than that one specific scene.
That episode showed the first glimpse of teamwork as well as betrayal. It showed that supply crates get dropped everyday or so on the island. It showed struggle and cunning ideas. Etc Etc So for example you'd incorporate that onto a cover.
I guess if I wasn't already doing a project id do this but heres what id do.

Parachute with breifcase in left corner of case girl running with somewhat torn clothes and mud smeared on face.
Killer with Military knife in background with obvious blood dripping from the blade the one boy to the right side with a crazed look on his face
oh Also the girl holding one of the timer bombs with the number on 7 while shes looking behind herself. Ahhh well.

i refuse to watch this because i heard about that from my friends who read the manga. Anime should be fun and steer clear of real life problems.
